Affirm Conditioning Relaxer System with Protecto

Affirm Relaxer System, I have found to be the kindest relaxer I have ever used.

It is a four step Relaxer System which has a sodium hydroxide base, Affirm relaxers come in three different strengths; mild, normal and restant.

Step 1

Protecto which protects your hair prior to relxaings Protecto effectively repairs damaged areas along the hair shaft.

Step 2

Affirm Cream Relaxer effectively straightens the hair by chemically changing a third of the cystine crosslinks of the hair to Lanthionion crosslinks. rinses easily from the hair without leaving a oily residue.

Step 3

Affirm 5 in 1 Reconstructor pH 4.5 for damaged or fine hair, a unique blend of micro- and macro fibrous conditioners that is applied immediately after rinsing the relaxer from the hair. This Reconstructor I would recommend for clients with fine limp hair as it adds more volume.

Affirm Positive Link conditioner pH 4.5 for medium to coarse hair. Applied immediately after cream relaxer is rinsed from hair. At this stage the hair is still alkaline pH 10 the cuticles remain particularly open, allowing the positive link conditioner to penetrate the hair. Restores the hair to its correct pH of 4.5 - 5.5.

Affirm Normalising Shampoo

Cleanses and removes residual relaxer oils

Repairs damaged areas along the hairshaft

tightly re-aligns the cuticles to a closed position and leaves hair tangle free
